Welcome to the Surrey Cricket League

In the early 1970s Tony Hodgson (New Malden CC) and Derek Guppy (Norbiton CC) had the idea of starting a new league to play limited over cricket. With the help of Tony Prime (Surbiton CC) and Micky Stewart, the sales director of Slazenger, the League was formed with its inaugural season 1975. Since then the League has remained faithful to its ethos Cricket for All and provides organised 45-over cricket on Saturday afternoons in Surrey and south London.
